Alejandro Sanchez LVN, CLT, CWCA
Alejandro Sanchez received his Vocational Nursing License in 2008, from The Valley Grande Institute in Weslaco, TX. He gained employment experience working in Clinical and Acute Care Dialysis, Hospice, and Home Health Care settings. Alejandro began working with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy and Advanced Wound Dressings in 2009 and is now a Certified Wound Care Associate of the American Board of Wound Management. He is experienced in Surgical, Acute, Chronic, and Palliative Wound Management modalities, as well as being a Certified Lymphatic Therapist from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy where he received Specialized Training in different treatment modalities for all types of Lymphatic Deficiencies. Foremost Alejandro has been a Nurse Educator to Patients, Families, Health Care Professionals, and the Community through various avenues in his Nursing career including being a current Co-Chairman to the Rio Grande Valley Chapter of The Save a Leg-Save a Life Foundation. As a Co-Chairman and member of S.A.L.S.A.L. Alejandro has assisted in providing education and information to the Public and Health Care Community regarding Amputation Prevention and Management of Chronic Illnesses which can lead to Amputations. Alejandro strives to be a Leader, Educator, and Advocate for the Community and Medical Professionals alike.
